About Larry R.
Larry R. Fleurantin earned his law degree from the University of Florida, completing the J.D. program in 2001. He entered the legal field at a formative moment. The early 2000s were busy years for new lawyers in Florida, and he moved quickly into practice after graduation.
Within two years of finishing law school he took on a leadership role. In 2003 he served as managing partner at Fleurantin, Francois & Antonin, P.A. That post placed him in the middle of day-to-day firm decisions and client matters. Colleagues from that period describe a lawyer accustomed to balancing casework with administrative duties.
Fleurantin’s practice grew to include federal appellate work. He gained membership in the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals Bar in 2004 and retains that membership today. That credential allows him to handle appeals that originate from federal courts in the circuit and to file briefs and appear in oral argument when cases proceed to the appellate level.
Over the years he has practiced under Florida jurisdiction. Records show his professional activities centered in the state, though the Eleventh Circuit admission extended the reach of cases he could take beyond state trial courts. His experience as a managing partner early in his career informed how he approaches both litigation and client advising. He has handled matters that required coordination across multiple attorneys and courts, and he understands the procedural demands that appellate dockets bring.
He is known in legal circles for steady courtroom preparation and methodical case management. He combines practical courtroom experience with the procedural knowledge needed for appeals. Today he continues to practice law in Florida and appears before the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals on federal appellate matters.
