About Larry
Larry Lefkowitz earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 1983. He completed his legal education in Southern California before establishing his practice connections to Pennsylvania. That early training laid a foundation for a long career in the law, one that has emphasized dispute resolution alongside general practice matters.
After law school Lefkowitz moved into private practice and the courts. Over the years he developed work that frequently involved resolving contested matters outside the courtroom. He holds a mediation certification through Good Sheppard Mediation, a credential he has used to help parties reach negotiated outcomes. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and maintains active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar.
His professional activities span traditional lawyer roles and the work of a neutral. As a mediator he has managed settlement conferences and facilitated dialogue between opposing sides. In his role as counsel he has advised clients on case strategy and settlement options. He blends those perspectives: knowing how cases are prepared for trial and how they are resolved through negotiation.
Colleagues describe him as practical and procedural in his approach. He favors clear timelines in pretrial work, careful framing of issues in mediation, and straightforward explanations of risks and benefits. He draws on decades of courtroom and settlement experience to help shape realistic expectations for clients and opposing counsel alike. He has kept current with the bar through continuing engagement in professional activities and the Pennsylvania State Bar.
Today Lefkowitz maintains a practice based in Pennsylvania where he handles mediation matters and offers legal counsel on disputes that may be suited to negotiated resolution. He continues to accept assignments as a mediator and represents clients in matters that benefit from experienced settlement planning. He currently practices in Pennsylvania, handling mediation and related matters.
