About Larry
Larry Forman completed undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville, earning a B.S. in Philosophy and Justice Administration in 2010. He remained at the same school for law school and received his J.D. in 2013. Those years in Louisville shaped his interest in criminal law and procedures and led him toward work in courtroom defense practice.
Early in his legal career Forman joined several professional organizations that track closely to criminal defense and DUI practice. He became a member of the Louisville Bar Association in 2012 and joined the Kentucky Bar Association the following year. National groups came next: the American Bar Association in 2011, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense in 2014, and the American Association for Justice and the Kentucky Justice Association in 2014 as well. He also joined the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Young Professionals Association of Louisville during those early years.
Forman’s association memberships reflect steady involvement in issues that affect people charged with crimes and driving-related offenses. He has been a member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association since 2017 and holds certification in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. That technical credential indicates familiarity with the tests commonly used in DUI investigations.
Over time Forman broadened his professional affiliations to include local and consumer-focused organizations. He is listed as a member of the Better Business Bureau beginning in 2015. He has continued active membership in the Kentucky Justice Association and the National College for DUI Defense, organizations that offer continuing education, case law updates, and peer networking specific to criminal and DUI defense practice.
Colleagues and clients see in Forman a lawyer whose background blends classroom study in philosophy and justice administration with practical training in DUI procedures. His professional timeline shows early entry into bar and defense-focused associations, followed by more specialized memberships and certification related to impaired-driving cases.
Forman practices in Kentucky and maintains memberships in both state and national defense organizations. He continues to participate in training and association activities relevant to criminal defense and DUI matters and practices in Kentucky focusing on those areas.
