About Kristopher

Kristopher Torres studied English literature and education at the University of Florida before turning to law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Arts in Education at the University of Florida, then completed his Juris Doctor at Florida International University. That combination of humanities and teaching marks a nontraditional path to the bar.

He began his professional life in the classroom. In 2004 he worked as an English teacher at Boynton Beach High School. Teaching sharpened his ability to explain complex ideas clearly. It also provided an early foundation for working with people under pressure.

Torres moved into legal practice in the early 2010s. Records show him in private-firm roles beginning in 2011 at Schwed Adams Sobel & McGinley P.A., followed by a stint in 2012 at The Law Offices of Berman and Berman, PA. By 2016 he was associated with the Law Offices of Robert Dixon. Those positions give him years of experience practicing law in Florida courts and handling client work in a firm setting.

Beyond firm work, Torres has been active in local professional groups. He holds memberships in the Palm Beach County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Palm Beach County Justice Association and the Treasure Coast Justice Association. He is also a member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. In networking circles he served as president of Networking Professionals International and is identified as a founding member of the Professional Referral Network. That mix of bar and community organizations suggests steady engagement with both legal peers and local business leaders.

Colleagues describe him as someone who came to law after other professional experiences and who carried those skills into practice. His educational background in literature and education continues to inform his written work and client explanations. Over more than a decade in Florida firms, he has handled the day-to-day responsibilities that come with private practice, including client counseling, case preparation and courtroom appearances when needed.

As of 2026 he maintains a presence at the Law Offices of Robert Dixon and continues to practice law in Florida, handling matters for clients from his office in the state.
