About Krista
Krista Evans moved from reporting to the courtroom in a way that reads like a deliberate second act. She studied journalism as an undergraduate and went on to law school. That sequence still shapes how she frames legal problems and explains options to clients.
Evans earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon in 2003. She continued her education at Lewis & Clark Law School, completing her J.D. in 2010 with coursework in business law. The combined training in communication and commercial law set a clear direction for her legal interests.
Her first post-law school position was at Buckley Law PC in 2011. There she cut her teeth on practical legal work and learned how law firms operate day to day. The early years were a testing ground for courtroom routines and client interactions, and they clarified the kinds of matters she preferred to handle.
In 2013 Evans joined Jordan Ramis PC. The move brought new responsibilities and exposure to larger, business-related cases. She spent that time developing files, advising clients and collaborating with more senior attorneys. Colleagues from that period describe her work as thorough and deliberate.
Two years later she co-founded Evans and Evans Law and became a partner in 2015. The firm carries her name and reflects the career choices she made after law school. Her practice draws on her business law education and her years in regional firms. She handles transactional and advisory work that often touches on commercial concerns and client communications.
Licensed to practice in Oregon, Evans has built a practice that blends clear writing and practical legal analysis. She is based at Evans and Evans Law and continues to represent clients in business-related legal matters. She currently practices at Evans and Evans Law, where her work centers on business law matters.
