About Kimberly Irene

Kimberly Irene Culp is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005 and holds bar number 238839. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Culp is a counsel at Fenwick & West LLP, a law firm located in Mountain View, California. She has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout the Silicon Valley area.

Ms. Culp earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where she graduated in 2005. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2001. During her time at UC Hastings, she was involved in various moot court teams, including the Evan A. Evans Moot Court Team and the Pace Moot Court Team, and served as a student coach for the Thomas Tang Moot Court Team.

Ms. Culp concentrates her practice in the areas of intellectual property litigation, media and advertising, and business litigation. She represents individuals and businesses in matters involving complex commercial disputes, including issues related to trademarks, advertising compliance, and consumer protection laws. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Culp has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Fenwick & West, she worked as a litigation associate at Venable LLP, where she was elevated to counsel in 2015. She also served as a director at Carr McClellan P.C. from 2018 to 2021 and as counsel at Venable LLP from 2013 to 2018.

Ms. Culp is an active member of the California State Bar Association. She has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012 to 2019. In addition to her legal practice, she serves on the board of directors of APA Family Support Services, a non-profit organization in San Francisco. Ms. Culp is fluent in English, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
