About Kia
Kia Champion followed a steady, traditional path into the law. She earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 2007 after beginning her undergraduate studies in 2004. She then enrolled at the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007 and received her J.D. in 2010. Those years of study provided a foundation in both analysis and client psychology that informs her approach today.
Her early career moved from support roles into lawyerly responsibility. In 2014 she worked as a paralegal at Weinrieb Law Office, where she handled case preparation, file management and factual investigation. In 2015 she joined Naderi Law Office as an associate, taking on expanded duties in client intake and drafting court filings. Later that same year she became managing partner at Champion Law Office, a role that combined casework with firm management.
Across those positions she accumulated hands-on experience in day-to-day litigation tasks and office operations. Her background includes document drafting, discovery coordination, client meetings and courtroom filings. She has worked on the administrative side of practice as well, supervising support staff and overseeing scheduling and deadlines. Those practical responsibilities inform how she organizes cases and communicates with clients.
Champion maintains current membership in professional associations and participates in the networks that connect practicing attorneys in California. That involvement keeps her connected to developments in state law and to peers who handle related matters.
