About Kevin
Kevin Woods built his foundation at the University of Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1989 and returned to the same campus for his law degree, graduating in 1994. The combination of finance and legal study shaped the early arc of his career.
He entered private practice in the years that followed. By 1997 he was working as a lawyer at Harmon, Woods, Parker, Hendricks, and Abrunzo. That role put him in the middle of day-to-day client work and the practical demands of a law firm environment.
His background in finance informs how he approaches legal problems. He tends to look for practical solutions grounded in numbers and contracts. Colleagues and clients have noted his methodical preparation and attention to transactional detail. He balances analytical work with the communication needed to keep clients informed.
Woods has navigated matters that require both legal and financial literacy. He prepared documents, advised on deals, and handled routine litigation tasks over the course of his career at the firm. He has experience drafting agreements, reviewing financial terms and responding to disputes that arise in commercial settings.
Outside of case files, he remains connected to the legal community that shaped his early years. He keeps current on developments in both finance and law. That connection helps him translate legal risks into clear, actionable points for clients who must make business decisions under time pressure.
As of 2026 he continues to practice law and applies his combined finance and legal training to the matters he accepts.
