About Kevin P.
Kevin P. Parker built his academic foundation across two Georgia universities. He earned a B.S. from the University of West Georgia in 2003 and returned there for an M.P.A. in 2007. He completed his legal education at Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2013. During law school he was active in several honor and advocacy groups, including the Order of Barristers, Phi Delta Phi, Phi Kappa Phi and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society.
Early in his legal career Parker worked as a law clerk at Adams & Jordan, P.C. in 2012. After graduating he joined the State Court of Bibb County as a staff lawyer in 2013. That role placed him inside the courthouse and gave him regular contact with judges, prosecutors and defense counsel. It also marked the start of steady work in Georgia’s state legal system.
In 2014 he became a partner at Parker Edmonds, LLP. Around the same time he accepted invitations to local professional organizations, serving as an associate of the William Augustus Bootle Inn of Court from 2014 to 2016 and holding membership in the Rotary Club of Macon North during the same period. He also served on the board of FosterLove, Inc. from 2013 to 2014.
Parker returned to public-sector law in 2016 when he worked as a government lawyer. Two years later he opened his own firm, KEVIN PARKER LAW LLC, and has served as its owner and lawyer since 2018. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Beyond courtroom work, Parker holds multiple certifications from the Georgia POST Council. He is certified as a training instructor, a probation officer and a police officer. Those credentials reflect cross-disciplinary training and experience that stretch beyond traditional courtroom practice into public safety and corrections.
His background combines public administration studies, courthouse experience and private practice. Cases and clients have moved between state and federal forums. He keeps professional ties to several academic and legal honor societies, and his career includes both public-sector work and small-firm practice.
He operates KEVIN PARKER LAW LLC and handles matters in the state and federal courts where he is admitted.
