About Kevin M

Kevin M Ryan earned a B.A. in history from the College of Wooster in 1990 and a J.D. from Cleveland State University in 1994. His academic path placed him in the courtroom and the classroom at a formative time. Those years set the stage for a career that has crossed practice areas and practice settings.

Soon after law school he established Ryan Legal Services, Inc., serving as its president beginning in 1998. The following year he took on a leadership role at West Shore Property Management Inc., where he served as president. Those positions reflect an early interest in the intersection of law, property, and business operations. He later expanded into the real estate market directly, becoming a licensed real estate sales associate in 2015 with Jason Will Real Estate.

Ryan holds admissions across multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted in Ohio and Alabama, and he has appellate admission in the Sixth and Eleventh Circuits. His credential list also includes admission to the United States Tax Court. Those entries suggest work that touches federal appellate matters and tax litigation alongside state practice.

Professional memberships have been a steady feature of his career. He joined the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys in 2005 and maintains that membership. He has been a member of the Mobile Bar Association since 2015. More recently he joined the American Bankruptcy Institute in 2017, where he remains active. These affiliations indicate sustained engagement with bankruptcy law and consumer bankruptcy issues over many years.

Over time Ryan’s roles have blended legal practice, business leadership, and real estate activity. He has run a legal services company while overseeing property management and holding a real estate license. That combination gives him a perspective on client needs from several angles: litigation and counseling, property operations, and transactional real estate matters.

He operates through Ryan Legal Services, Inc., maintaining offices that serve clients across his admitted jurisdictions. His day-to-day work involves bankruptcy-related matters, consumer bankruptcy issues, tax court practice, and real estate questions that arise from those fields. He continues to practice through Ryan Legal Services, Inc., handling bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy, tax matters, and real estate issues.
