About Kevin M.
Kevin M. Cloutier built his legal foundation at Fordham University, where he earned a B.A. in 2000. He went on to receive his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2005. Those years set the stage for a career that blends civilian practice with ongoing military service.
Shortly after law school, Cloutier entered active service as a United States Army intelligence officer in 2006. He has maintained that role into the present. The experience in uniform has shaped how he approaches investigation and advocacy. It also informs his work on administrative and evidence issues that often arise in benefit and litigation settings.
Since 2011 he has been a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Those affiliations put him in regular contact with trial lawyers, courtroom practitioners and peers across the state. They reflect a practice that intersects both litigation and administrative proceedings.
Cloutier operates Cloutier Law Office LLC. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is also an accredited lawyer for the Department of Veterans Affairs, which allows him to represent veterans in proceedings before the VA. At his office he handles filings, appeals and court appearances in state and federal forums when clients’ matters require it.
Clients and colleagues describe him as methodical and practical. He emphasizes careful preparation and attention to record development. He spends a good deal of his time on matters that require detailed factual review and procedural steadiness. He prefers clear explanations over legalese and aims to keep clients informed at each step.
Cloutier maintains an active practice through Cloutier Law Office LLC, representing clients in Massachusetts courts, in federal court when appropriate, and before the Department of Veterans Affairs in accredited representation matters.
