Kevin Lawrence Hagen is a former attorney based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who specialized in bankruptcy, business law, and real estate law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar on September 22, 1994, and held. Hagen earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida in 1987.
He later obtained his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad College of Law in 1994. Throughout his legal career, Hagen was involved in various practice areas, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, business contracts, and real estate transactions. He was also certified to practice in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
In 2018, Hagen faced disciplinary action resulting in a 10-day suspension, effective 30 days from an April 19 court order. The suspension was due to his repeated failure to comply with court orders and appearances in the Southern District of Florida. In 2023, Hagen was convicted of one count of Conspiracy to Commit Securities Fraud, a federal offense under 18 U.S.C.
§ 371. Consequently, the Florida Supreme Court issued a disciplinary revocation with leave to seek readmission after five years, effective 30 days following an August 10 court order. As of February 19, 2026, Kevin Lawrence Hagen is not eligible to practice law in Florida.
