About Kevin

Kevin Klagge earned his B.S. in Communications from Boston University in 2007 and completed his J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 2012. His academic path combined a liberal arts undergraduate degree with three years of legal study in Boston. Those years shaped his approach to the practice of law and prepared him for courtroom and advisory work.

After law school, Klagge entered private practice and eventually joined Assouline & Berlowe, P.A., where he is now a partner. At the firm he handles matters that come before both state and federal tribunals. He is admitted to practice in Florida and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He also maintains membership in the State Bar of Florida.

Colleagues describe Klagge as methodical. He approaches casework by breaking problems into discrete steps. That procedural mindset shows in his courtroom preparation and in how he guides clients through phases of litigation. He is comfortable in motion practice and in hearings that require pointed legal analysis. He balances written advocacy and oral argument, often shifting between the two depending on the stage of a case.

Klagge’s work at Assouline & Berlowe, P.A. spans matters filed in Florida state courts and cases that proceed in federal court. He advises clients on procedural strategy and evidence issues, and he litigates claims when settlement is not an option. He prepares pleadings, argues motions, and represents clients at trial settings when necessary. He has handled contested matters that require coordination among multiple stakeholders and courts.

Outside of active cases, Klagge stays engaged with the local legal community through his State Bar of Florida membership. He attends continuing education programs and follows developments in federal and state procedure. That attention to procedural change helps him anticipate how new rules and precedents might affect pending and future matters.

He practices law as a partner at Assouline & Berlowe, P.A., representing clients in Florida state and federal courts.
