About Kevin J.
Kevin J. Pitts earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2004. He completed his legal education during a period of change in Florida’s courts and returned to practice in the state where he trained. His law school years shaped an interest in courtroom procedure and dispute resolution.
He moved into public service early in his career. In 2008 he served as an Assistant State Lawyer at the State Lawyer’s Office. That role put him in the middle of trial preparation and client counseling on matters that often touch families and community institutions. The experience provided exposure to courtroom work and the management of case files under tight deadlines.
In 2010 he became CEO of The Law Offices of Kevin J. Pitts, P.A. He has overseen the firm’s daily operations since then. His responsibilities have included supervising case strategy, coordinating with other attorneys, and managing administrative functions. The firm’s name reflects the central role he plays in running the practice.
Pitts is certified as a Family Law Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court. The certification allows him to handle court-referred mediations and private settlement conferences in family law cases. It also signals that he has completed the training and met the standards required by the state for mediators in family disputes.
Outside the office he has been involved in community activities. Records show he coached for Seminole County Youth Soccer in 2011. That work put him in a volunteer role supporting local youth and organized sports for a season.
He is admitted to practice in Florida and spends his working days at The Law Offices of Kevin J. Pitts, P.A. His practice centers on family law and mediation, where he balances courtroom work with efforts to settle disputes outside of trial.
