About Kevin G
Kevin G Corcoran combines years of courtroom experience with specialized training in energy and environmental law. He holds a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and later completed an LL.M. in Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources at the University of Houston Law Center. Those academic credentials inform much of his practice today.
Corcoran has practiced in Texas for decades and appears in multiple federal forums. He is admitted in Texas and has obtained admissions in the U.S. Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. His professional associations reflect an interest in both trial work and energy law. He joined the Houston Bar Association in the early 1990s. He has served on the advisory board of the Institute for Energy Law since 2012. In 2016 he became an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization for experienced trial lawyers. He also served as president of the Galveston County Bar Association from 2017 to 2018.
