Rosen held several prominent positions that shaped his career. He served as Senior Manager in Cyber Risk Services at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he provided strategic advice to institutional clients on matters of cybersecurity, data security, and compliance. This role allowed him to work with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate the intricate landscape of cybersecurity regulations. Prior to his tenure at Deloitte, he was a partner at Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he concentrated on cybersecurity, privacy, and financial regulation, including virtual currency and securities regulation. Mr. Rosen's experience also includes significant roles at regulatory bodies. He served as Senior Regional Counsel and Regulatory Specialist at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where he dealt with compliance issues affecting the financial services industry.
His role at FINRA was critical, as it involved ensuring that firms adhered to federal regulations. Additionally, he was a Senior Attorney at the Florida Department of Banking and Finance, where he focused on regulatory compliance and enforcement. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Rosen is committed to education and academia. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he teaches Cyber and Information Crimes. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional through the FINRA Institute and the Wharton School of Business. His memberships include the American Bar Association's Cyberspace Law Committee, Federal Regulation of Securities Committee, and Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Initiatives Committee. Furthermore, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Institution Security Association, where he contributes to enhancing security measures within the financial sector.
