About Kevin C
Kevin C Brague moved from an undergraduate study of English at Arizona State University into law school at Pepperdine, earning his J.D. in 2002. He entered the legal profession in the early 2000s and built his bar qualifications in the years that followed. His academic background in literature and critical reading informs a careful approach to legal writing and courtroom argument.
After law school Brague gained admission to practice in Oregon in 2005 and later in Washington in 2014. He is also admitted to appear before the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions chart a gradual expansion of the geographic reach of his work, from state courts to federal appellate matters.
Brague joined what became The Brague Law Office and rose to partner in 2008. That role has placed him in the day-to-day management of a small firm while also keeping him in active courtwork. His career combines client advocacy and the practical responsibilities of running a practice: supervising cases, interacting with opposing counsel, and handling procedural matters that keep litigation moving.
He maintains memberships in professional organizations aligned with trial work. He is listed with the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 2005 and the Washington State Bar since 2014. He also joined the American Association for Justice in 2017 and remains an active member. These affiliations signal regular engagement with professional education, case law developments, and the collegial routines of litigators.
In the courtroom he works across levels of the judiciary. His admissions allow him to pursue cases in state trial courts in Oregon and Washington, and to handle appeals that reach the Ninth Circuit. That combination of trial and appellate practice requires handling evidence, witness preparation, and legal briefing geared to both juries and appellate judges. Colleagues describe him as steady in procedure and deliberate in argument.
Outside of active litigation he has managed the administrative and strategic duties that come with partnership. Over time that has included mentoring newer attorneys and coordinating case strategy across matters handled by the firm. He balances those tasks while maintaining a docket that spans trial and appeal work.
Brague is currently a partner at The Brague Law Office, where his practice centers on litigation in Oregon and Washington and on appeals before the Ninth Circuit.
