About Kevin

Kevin Abramowicz earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, receiving a J.D. in 2015. He came through a rigorous academic program at an Ivy League law school and left with the credentials typical of attorneys who pursue trial and appellate work. The years in Philadelphia shaped his legal training and informed the early choices in his career.

After law school, Abramowicz moved into private practice. Over time he established BCJ Law LLC and serves as its owner and lawyer. That role put him in charge of the day-to-day decisions of a small firm and required him to manage both client work and the business side of practice. Colleagues describe the transition from associate roles to managing attorney as a pragmatic step that let him set priorities for the firm.

Abramowicz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in the federal circuits of the 3rd and 5th. Those admissions permit him to handle matters in state court and to appear in certain federal appellate courts. He has used those credentials to represent clients in litigation beyond a single county, drawing on the ability to litigate in multiple jurisdictions when cases require it.

He maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is a current member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. These memberships connect him to peers, continuing legal education opportunities, and current developments in consumer law and civil litigation. They also provide a network that a small firm can tap when a case calls for specialty counsel or wider geographic reach.

Clients and lawyers who have worked with him note that his practice blends courtroom preparation with negotiation. He handles filings, motions, and settlement talks, and he manages the practical details that move a case forward. The combination of trial-capable credentials and local bar involvement has allowed him to take on matters that require both litigation know-how and procedural attention.

He continues to lead BCJ Law LLC from its office base and to represent clients under admissions in Pennsylvania and the 3rd and 5th Circuits. His current practice focuses on consumer protection and related litigation.
