About Kenneth A.
Kenneth A. Hoffman built his legal foundation in the Midwest. He graduated from Indiana University–Bloomington in 1984 with a B.A. in history and earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1988. Those formative years set the stage for a career spent largely in Illinois courtrooms.
He began his professional practice in 1991 as an associate at Clausen Miller. That early period gave him exposure to civil litigation and the day-to-day work of trial preparation. In 1994 he moved to John G. Phillips & Associates, where he continued as an associate and deepened his experience handling contested matters and client advocacy.
By 1998 he had advanced to partnership at Mitchell Hoffman & Wolf LLC. As a partner he took on more responsibility for case strategy and firm management while continuing to try cases. His career path reflects steady progress from junior associate to firm leadership over the course of the 1990s.
Hoffman maintains active ties to professional groups that align with trial work. He holds membership in the American Association for Justice and has belonged to the Illinois Trial Lawyer Association since 1994. He has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association since 1991.
