About Kendall

Kendall Brady earned his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in 2014. He completed a legal education marked by coursework in constitutional and administrative law and a range of clinical experiences that exposed him to both litigation and transactional practice. His time at law school provided the foundation for practice in two closely connected jurisdictions.

After law school, Brady established his practice in the Mid-Atlantic region. He works across the District of Columbia and Virginia, where he is admitted to practice. Over the years he has handled matters that require attention to local court rules, administrative procedures, and the differing statutory schemes between the two jurisdictions. That practical side of the work occupies much of his professional life.

Brady’s work covers matters that arise in courts and administrative forums. He represents private and institutional clients on legal issues that demand factual investigation, legal research, and careful pleading. His files show a mix of contested litigation and negotiated resolution. He prepares briefs, argues motions, and participates in administrative hearings when proceedings require advocacy beyond counseling alone.

Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who attends to detail and to the deadlines that control litigation calendars. He approaches each matter by mapping the procedural terrain first, then turning to the substantive law that governs the client’s objectives. That order of work—procedural groundwork followed by targeted legal argument—guides how he prepares cases for trial or settlement discussions.

Professional development has remained part of Brady’s routine. He keeps current on local court developments and updates to statutory law that affect practice in both jurisdictions. That attention helps him adjust strategies when new precedents or administrative rulings change the legal landscape.

In client work he emphasizes clear communication. He favors plain explanations of risk and timing over technical jargon. Clients see practical timelines and options for resolution rather than abstract descriptions of legal theory. That orientation supports decisions about whether to litigate, settle, or pursue alternative dispute resolution.

Brady balances courtroom preparation with negotiation. He handles pleadings and pretrial work while also pursuing settlements when they serve a client’s objectives. He currently practices law in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
