About Kelsey

Kelsey Whalen built her foundation in law after completing undergraduate studies in sports management. She earned a B.S. from Eastern Kentucky University, where she also took business courses that complemented her major. That mix of sport and business theory preceded a decision to pursue a legal education.

She attended the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and received her J.D. there. The law school years gave her classroom and clinic experience. They also placed her in the Arizona legal community, where she later began practicing.

Whalen is admitted to practice in Arizona and is listed as a lawyer with the State Bar of Arizona. Early in her career she held positions at two Phoenix-area firms in 2022. Records show she worked at Zoldan Law Group PLLC and at Weiler Law PLLC during that year. Those roles exposed her to firm-side practice and courtroom procedures at a formative stage.

Colleagues describe her approach as practical and detail-oriented. She combines the organizational discipline from her undergraduate training with the advocacy skills developed at law school. She has participated in bar-related activities and maintains professional memberships in Arizona. Her resume reflects a steady progression from student to practicing lawyer within a few years.

Her move to Weiler Law PLLC positioned her within a small firm environment. There she has been involved in client intake, legal research, drafting pleadings, and courtroom appearances. The transition from a larger law school setting to active practice required rapid adaptation to case management and client communication. Those adjustments became part of her daily routine.

Outside the office, Whalen’s background in sports management informs how she organizes case strategy and negotiates timelines. That earlier training also shapes her interest in transactional details and contract review. She continues to expand practical skills through day-to-day work and participation in local legal circles.

She currently practices at Weiler Law PLLC in Arizona and handles client matters through the firm’s office based in the state.
