About Kelsey R.

Kelsey R. Raycroft moved from the Southwest to New England to study law after completing an undergraduate degree in 2011. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and followed that with a J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2014. The straight line from undergraduate study to law school set the foundation for a legal career that has been steady and practice-oriented.

Her legal education in Boston exposed her to a tight legal community and a practical curriculum. At New England Law she completed the coursework and training that accompany a modern J.D., and she left school prepared to step into day-to-day practice. The combination of a science-oriented undergraduate degree and a law degree informed an analytical approach to problem solving that has carried over into her work.

After law school, Raycroft joined Sheff Law as an associate. In that role she has taken on responsibilities common to firm associates: preparing legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, meeting with clients, and assisting in courtroom preparation. Colleagues say she brings a steady, methodical style to those tasks. She handles the routine but essential work that keeps matters moving and helps senior counsel prepare for trial or settlement discussions.

Raycroft is based in an office known as The Daniel Webster Suite, where she works alongside other lawyers and support staff. The setting places her within a small-firm environment that blends client contact with collaborative casework. Being in that space has shaped the way she manages caseloads and coordinates with clients and colleagues.

Her approach to cases is practical. She aims for clear communication and thorough preparation. In conferences and client meetings she tends to prioritize clarity over legal jargon and prefers to present options in plain terms. That practical orientation guides how she prepares filings and how she advises clients about next steps.

Outside of direct client matters, she contributes to the firm’s internal workflows by handling research assignments and drafting motions that senior attorneys rely on. That type of backstage work is part of what associates do to advance cases and keep clients informed.

Kelsey R. Raycroft continues to practice as an associate at Sheff Law, where her current work focuses on representing clients and providing legal counsel at the firm.
