About Kelsey
Kelsey Moore studied at Kansas State University before earning her law degree at Washburn University School of Law. She moved from undergraduate study into legal training in the same state she now practices. Her academic background combined a regional undergraduate experience with a law school that has ties to Kansas courts and practice.
After law school, Moore entered private practice. She joined Larson & Brown, P.A. as an associate lawyer. In that role she has worked on matters that arise under Kansas law and in Kansas courts. Her responsibilities at the firm have included client counseling, drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in court appearances and settlement discussions.
Moore maintains current membership in professional legal associations. She attends continuing legal education programs and participates in bar activities that keep her engaged with developments in state law. These involvements support the day-to-day work she performs for clients and inform her approach to procedural and substantive issues.
Colleagues describe Moore as methodical and concise in her written work. She favors clear communication when explaining legal options to clients. That clarity extends to interactions with opposing counsel and court staff. In routine casework she emphasizes careful preparation and attention to deadlines.
Her practice is grounded in the rules and procedures of Kansas courts. She handles matters that require negotiation and, when necessary, litigation in state forums. Moore draws on both her classroom training and practical experience at Larson & Brown to navigate filings, discovery, and hearings.
Outside of casework, Moore has remained tied to the professional community in Kansas. She participates in continuing education and contributes to firm efforts to address client needs efficiently. Those activities reflect a steady engagement with the practical demands of private practice rather than public commentary or academic writing.
She currently practices law in Kansas as an associate at Larson & Brown, P.A., advising clients on state law matters.
