About Kelly S.
Kelly S. Kelly grew up studying in Wisconsin and stayed for law school. She earned a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1999 and returned to the same campus to receive her J.D. in 2002. Those years on campus set the groundwork for a career rooted in the state’s legal community.
After law school she joined Herrling Clark Law Office Ltd., where she serves as a lawyer. Over time she has become a familiar presence in the firm’s regional offices. She is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, allowing her to handle matters in both state and federal venues.
Kelly combines courtroom admission and local connections with steady involvement in professional groups. She holds memberships in the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Locally, she is a member of the Outagamie County and Waupaca County bar associations. Those affiliations reflect a career that operates both inside the courthouse and in the day-to-day professional life of the region’s lawyers.
Her civic and nonprofit work has been constant alongside her legal practice. She serves as president of the Kaukauna Alumni Foundation Board of Directors and sits on the board of Unison Credit Union. She volunteers for Make-A-Wish as a wish grantor. She also leads Girl Scouts Troop 2551 in the Northwestern Great Lakes council, a role that connects her to youth programming in the community.
Kelly has participated in local leadership programs, including Leadership Fox Cities. She was part of the class of 2004–2005 and later took part in the program’s inaugural executive class in 2012. Those experiences dovetail with her board work and public engagement, and they have kept her network close to the civic institutions of the Fox Cities area.
At Herrling Clark she practices across multiple office locations. She regularly appears for clients from the firm’s Appleton, Green Bay and Oshkosh offices. Colleagues and community organizations know her for steady public service and for staying involved in local boards and volunteer efforts.
She currently practices law at Herrling Clark Law Office Ltd., representing clients in Wisconsin state courts and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
