About Kelly

Kelly Keefe graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2013. She earned her J.D. after concentrating on coursework and clinics that touched on family and domestic relations law. She practices in Missouri and has built a career rooted in the state’s courts and statutes.

Soon after law school, Keefe moved into family law matters. She worked in roles that exposed her to both courtroom practice and negotiated settlements. Over time she established Keefe Family Law, LLC, where she serves as a principal attorney. Her work history shows steady involvement in the types of disputes that reach family court: contested divorces, custody hearings and financial issues that must be untangled during separation.

Keefe’s practice covers a range of family law matters. She handles divorce proceedings, parenting time and custody disputes, child support calculations and spousal maintenance questions. Property division and enforcement of court orders are part of her daily docket. She represents clients at hearings and mediations, and prepares pleadings and settlement documents when cases resolve outside the courtroom.

Clients describe her as practical and direct. Keefe tends to break complicated legal and financial topics into plain terms. She prepares clients for what to expect in court and outlines likely timelines. She also evaluates settlement offers against the risks of litigation so clients can make informed decisions. Her approach balances attention to detail with an eye toward achieving results that are sustainable after the case ends.

Keefe maintains current membership in professional legal associations. She keeps up with continuing legal education and follows developments in Missouri family law. That ongoing learning supports courtroom work and negotiating strategy. Her involvement with colleagues provides a resource when cases raise novel procedural or factual issues.

Outside of representation, Keefe handles case management and client intake at her firm. She oversees case strategy whether a matter proceeds to a contested trial or resolves through mediation. At Keefe Family Law, LLC she combines courtroom advocacy with efforts to limit long-term disruption for families.

She continues to practice in Missouri, offering representation in family law matters including divorce, custody, child support and related post-judgment proceedings.
