About Keith E.
Keith E. McAndrews built a career that begins in local courtrooms. He grew up studying law at Widener University Delaware School of Law, where he earned his J.D., after completing his undergraduate work at Temple University. Those years shaped his approach to practice: practical, courtroom-minded and centered on clients' immediate needs.
He entered public service early. In 2000 he joined the Bucks County Public Defender's Office as a deputy public defender. There he handled arraignments, motions and trials. The experience gave him steady exposure to criminal procedure and the rhythm of county court dockets. The public defender role also provided regular contact with investigators, prosecutors and judges in Bucks County.
After moving into private practice, he became an associate at Young, Klein & Associates in 2004. At that firm he expanded his work on defense cases and learned the business side of representation. Three years later he launched his own practice. In 2007 he founded Keith E. McAndrews, Lawyer at Law, establishing a small office intended to offer direct representation for clients in and around Bucks County.
McAndrews maintains memberships in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect ongoing ties to the local legal community and to peers who practice criminal defense across the state. Over the years he has handled matters that typically arise in county courts, and he remains active in the regional legal circuit.
His work is grounded in courtroom practice. He files motions, argues hearings and represents clients at trial when cases proceed that far. Colleagues describe him as someone who moves cases through the system and who pays attention to procedural detail. Clients find a lawyer who knows the local calendars and the expectations of county court practice.
He operates from a Bucks County office and continues to represent individuals charged with criminal offenses. His current practice focuses on criminal defense and related proceedings handled in Pennsylvania courts.
