In addition to his legal practice, Jones has contributed to the education of fellow attorneys by teaching continuing legal education classes. His expertise has also led him to testify before state legislative committees on various family law issues, advocating for changes that benefit families in Oklahoma. His involvement in these areas reflects his dedication to improving the legal field for family law practitioners and their clients. In January 2025, Jones resigned from the Oklahoma Bar Association pending disciplinary proceedings.
