About Brian
Brian Boeheim there are 32 years between his bachelor’s degree and his law degree. He earned a B.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982. Decades later he returned to the classroom and received a J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2014.
His move into the legal profession followed several years of other work outside the law. In 2014 he became a partner at Boeheim Freeman, PLLP. That same period marked his growing involvement in professional organizations at the state and local level. He has held memberships in the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Association since 2012.
Boeheim’s professional network extends beyond Oklahoma. He joined the American Bar Association in 2012 and became a member of the American Inns of Court and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2013. In 2015 he added membership in the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. These affiliations reflect consistent engagement with peers and ongoing professional development.
Outside of bar and association work, he has received recognition from peers. He has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. The honor appears among his professional accolades and is noted alongside his association memberships. He continues to participate in the local legal community in Tulsa and statewide organizations across Oklahoma.
At the firm level, Boeheim has been a partner at Boeheim Freeman, PLLP since 2014. He practices in Oklahoma and maintains an office under the Boeheim Freeman name. Colleagues and association listings place him squarely in the state’s legal scene, where he is active in criminal defense circles as well as general bar activities.
