About KC Dupps
KC Dupps Tucker built a career that crosses the classroom, the research center and the courtroom. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and Theatre from Colorado College in 1998, a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2007, and an LL.M. in Agricultural Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2008. Those credentials set the stage for a practice that combines academic work and hands-on legal practice.
Early in his professional life Tucker taught and worked in school administration at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2000, where he served as a teacher, alumni director and assistant director of development. He moved into legal work after law school and held several short-term positions that intersected with industry and policy. In 2007 he served as an extern and intern in the Wal-Mart International Legal Department and worked as a research associate at the National Agricultural Law Center while completing graduate studies.
Tucker’s private practice experience includes a longtime association with Bassett Law Office LLP, where records list him as a partner beginning in 2004. In 2014 he founded The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP and serves as a partner there. His career therefore spans solo and small-firm practice, larger corporate legal exposure through internships, and academic research tied to agricultural law.
He is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Tennessee and also admitted to appear before the Eighth and Tenth U.S. Courts of Appeals. Tucker holds membership in the State Bar of Arkansas. His academic work in agricultural law and his employment at the National Agricultural Law Center inform the kinds of matters he handles, and his time in a corporate legal department exposed him to international and commercial issues.
Tucker’s practice combines elements of transactional and litigation work. He handles matters that touch on agricultural regulation, business and corporate questions, and appellate work in federal courts. He practices from The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP and continues to handle cases that draw on his agricultural law background and federal appellate admissions.
He currently practices at The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP, where his work includes agricultural law, business and corporate matters, and appellate representation.
