About Kristy

Kristy Boehler built her legal career in the Midwest and the South. She has practiced at a northwest Arkansas firm since becoming a partner there in 2014, after two years as an associate.

Boehler completed her undergraduate studies at Drake University in 2007, earning a B.A. that combined political science with courses in law, politics and society. She stayed in the region for law school, receiving a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2011 and returning to the same school for a postgraduate LL.M. in 2012. The back-to-back degrees added classroom depth to the practical training she received early in her career.

She began in private practice as an associate at Bassett Law Office LLP in 2012. The next two years brought a rapid transition to partnership. In 2014 she joined The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP as a partner. The move established her in a firm that handles matters tied to the local and regional courts where she is licensed to practice.

Boehler is admitted to practice in Arkansas, Missouri and Virginia and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She holds memberships in the Arkansas Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and the Virginia Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect the geographic breadth of her practice and allow her to work across a handful of state and federal forums.

Colleagues describe Boehler as deliberate in legal analysis and attentive to case details. She balances litigation tasks and client counseling, often handling the procedural and substantive steps required to move matters forward. Her professional experience spans the early years of private practice through partnership responsibilities, including client intake, case strategy and collaboration with other attorneys at the firm.

Outside the courtroom and office, Boehler’s academic background in political science and law informs how she approaches statutory and regulatory issues. Her LL.M. followed immediately after her J.D., a path that provided additional legal study before settling into her long-term practice in northwest Arkansas.

She works out of The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP and maintains active memberships in multiple state bar organizations. Her current practice centers on representing clients across the jurisdictions in which she is licensed to practice.
