About Kay-Ann

Kay-Ann Waite earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Central Florida in 2006. Her academic path combined a broad undergraduate curriculum with three years of concentrated legal training. The sequence of degrees set a clear direction: law practice in Florida. She later obtained the credential that permits practice in the state of Florida.

She began her legal career in the years after law school and established herself in the Florida legal community. Over time she took on the varied tasks that small-firm lawyers often handle: advising clients, negotiating on their behalf, and representing them in court when necessary. Those early years provided a practical education that complemented her formal training.

Her work has embraced both office-based counseling and courtroom appearances. She routinely prepares pleadings, handles motions, and consults with clients about strategy. She also manages the administrative demands of running a practice, including client intake and case management. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical; she aims to present options clearly so clients can make informed choices.

In practice she has focused on delivering direct legal services within Florida’s courts and administrative forums. She has been involved in cases that required careful attention to procedural detail and close client communication. She places emphasis on timely responses and on explaining complex issues in plain terms. That orientation shapes how she staffs matters and allocates time across cases.

Today she serves as the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Kay-Ann P. Waite, P.A. The firm provides representation and legal counsel to clients across the state. She handles the firm’s legal work and day-to-day operations, overseeing case strategy and client relations. Her current practice centers on client counseling and courtroom representation in Florida.
