About Katrina Marie
Katrina Marie Otto earned her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology at Loyola Marymount University in 2013. Her academic path combined courses in legal theory and social science. That mix shaped an interest in cases that touch both legal rules and family dynamics.
While in law school she gained practical courtroom and clinic experience. In 2015 she worked as a licensed legal intern at the Law Offices of Helene Ellenbogen, P.S. The same year she took on internships with the King County Bar Association’s Kinship Care Solutions Project and its Self-Help Plus Program. Those placements exposed her to client-facing work and the procedural side of family law matters.
After passing into practice she moved into associate roles. In 2017 she joined Morris Sockle Posadas, PLLC as an associate lawyer. That same year she also began working with Divorce Lawyers for Men as an associate. Those early positions placed her squarely in firms that handle marital dissolution and related disputes. Colleagues and court filings from that period show routine engagement with the filings and negotiations that drive family law practice.
Otto maintains active ties to the local legal community. Since 2017 she has been a member of the Thurston County Bar Association. Within that organization she participates in the Family Law Section and the Young Lawyers Section. Those memberships connect her to continuing education and to peers who practice in the same court venues.
Her work draws on both courtroom preparation and client counseling. She has experience drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, and assisting in settlement discussions. She has also handled procedural steps in family law cases for clients who need clear guidance through the system. Her background in the King County Bar Association clinics informed an approach that blends procedural knowledge with attention to clients’ practical concerns.
Katrina Otto’s resume shows a steady progression from internships and clinic work to full associate responsibilities. She continues to practice in Washington and to participate in local bar activities. She currently practices in Washington, handling family law and divorce matters.
