About Katie Rene
Katie Rene Robinson earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2011. She moved into the professional world quickly after graduation and built experience in both institutional and private settings. Her legal education provided the foundation for roles that followed in fiduciary services and firm practice.
In 2012 Robinson joined Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. as a trust administrator. In that role she worked on trust administration and related fiduciary matters, handling documentation, account management and the routine issues that arise in administering estates and trusts. The position gave her practical exposure to the intersection of financial institutions and estate-related law.
Robinson shifted to private practice in 2014 when she became an associate at The Wright Firm, LLP. She spent several years in that environment before moving on in 2017 to serve as an associate at Frank L. Leffingwell & Associates, PC. In both roles she provided representation and counsel to clients, working within the structures of established firms and taking on responsibilities typical of associate attorneys.
In 2018 she opened her own practice, Katie R. Robinson Law Office, PLLC. Running a solo practice meant she carried a broader range of responsibilities — from client intake and case management to court filings and direct client contact. The move to her own firm marked a shift toward a practice where she could set direction for handling matters and manage the day-to-day operation of a small law office.
Licensed to practice in Texas, Robinson’s career has spanned bank-based fiduciary work and roles at multiple law firms before she established her own office. Her experience in a corporate trust setting and subsequent years in private firms inform how she approaches client problems. She handles matters that arise under Texas law and represents clients through her practice in the state, where she continues to maintain an active law office focused on serving individuals and entities in Texas.
