About Kathy Gayle
Kathy Gayle Neumann is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Neumann is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Kathy G. Neumann, a law firm with offices in Westlake Village and Sherman Oaks, California. She has been practicing law for over twenty-eight years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Ms. Neumann earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne College of Law in 1996. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of La Verne, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During her time at the University of La Verne College of Law, she was actively involved in various student organizations and participated in the school's clinical legal education program.
Ms. Neumann concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence. She represents individuals and families in matters involving marital dissolution, child custody disputes, child and spousal support calculations, and protection from domestic violence. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Neumann has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the Superior Court of California for the County of Ventura, the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange, and the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate at a mid-size family law firm in Westlake Village for five years.
Ms. Neumann is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, where she served as a trustee from 2014 to 2018. She is also a member of the California State Bar Association. She has received extensive mediation training from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law and has attended numerous additional mediation trainings at the Center for Civic Mediation. Ms. Neumann is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
