About Kathryn Sarah
Kathryn Sarah Wallrabenstein is an attorney who has built a steady professional record in Ohio and federal courts. She earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2014 after completing a B.A. at Miami University in 2011. Her academic path combined liberal arts and legal training, preparing her for courtroom work and regulatory matters.
Her legal career began immediately after law school. In 2014 she joined Meeks & Thomas Co., LPA as an associate lawyer, where she handled litigation and client counseling under the supervision of senior attorneys. The following year she moved to Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP as an associate, taking on a broader docket and exposure to cross-jurisdictional issues.
At Taft she advanced through roles of increasing responsibility. She worked on matters that brought her into federal and state court settings and into appellate filings. In 2023 she was elevated to partner at the firm. Colleagues describe her as dependable and thorough; her promotions reflect sustained performance over a multi-year period.
Wallrabenstein is admitted to practice in Ohio and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Federal Circuit. That range of admissions allows her to file and argue matters in both state and federal forums. She has been a member of the Federal Bar Association since 2014, participating in events and professional programs that serve lawyers who practice in federal courts.
Her work history shows continuity rather than frequent moves. After a first year at a regional firm, she joined Taft and has remained there through an associate track to partnership. That tenure has given her institutional knowledge of firm practice and client relationships as well as familiarity with local and appellate procedures.
Today she practices at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Ohio. She handles matters that arise in state and federal courts and maintains active involvement in the Federal Bar Association. Her current practice centers on representation in state and federal court proceedings.
