About Kathryn L.
Kathryn L. Conway earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006. She continued her studies at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and received her J.D. in 2011. Her academic background combined a large public university experience with law school training in Chicago.
She is admitted to practice in Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Those admissions allow her to appear in both state and federal forums. She maintains memberships in several professional organizations that serve trial lawyers and the broader bar.
Conway is an associate at Power Rogers, LLP. In that role she handles matters that arise in the Illinois courts and in the Northern District of Illinois. Her work at the firm involves case preparation, court filings, and representation in hearings. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing legal papers and deliberate in courtroom settings.
Her professional affiliations include the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and a Women’s Bar Association. She holds current memberships in each of those groups. Through them she keeps in touch with developments in trial practice and courtroom procedure.
Conway’s training and licensure support practice on both trial and federal dockets. She draws on her law school experience in Chicago when handling procedural questions and when briefing matters in federal court. Those skills are paired with day-to-day trial preparation and client representation at the firm.
Outside of court work, she contributes to case strategy and collaborates with colleagues on discovery and motion practice. Her role as an associate involves coordinating with clients and other lawyers to move cases forward. She takes part in hearings and draft motions that are necessary to advance client interests in litigation.
She remains based at Power Rogers, LLP, where she represents clients in matters filed in Illinois state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
