About Katherine Lindsey

Katherine Lindsey Cornell built her path to law on an early interest in public service. She earned a B.A. in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and later completed her J.D. at Michigan State University. The mix of social-work training and legal education shaped how she approaches clients and cases: practical, detail-oriented, and attentive to how court outcomes affect real lives.

Her legal career began in judicial chambers. In 2011 she served as a law clerk to Judge F. Kay Behm at the Genesee County Probate Court. The following year she worked for Judge Joseph J. Farah at the 7th Circuit Court, assisting on both criminal and civil dockets. Those clerkships exposed her to courtroom procedure and case management across a range of matters. In 2012 she also took a law clerk position at the Ada Legal Group, further rounding out her early practice experience.

After gaining courtroom and clerical experience, Cornell moved into associate roles. She joined the Tracey Law Office as an associate in 2014. That post expanded her responsibilities in case preparation and client representation. She later became an associate at Blizzard & Nabers. At Blizzard & Nabers she continues to handle litigation tasks, including motion practice, discovery management, and trial preparation.

Cornell maintains active professional memberships. She holds membership in the State Bar of Texas and participates in local and national trial organizations. Her affiliations include the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. These connections keep her engaged with developments in trial procedure and evidence practice, and they provide regular opportunities for continuing legal education.

Colleagues describe her work style as methodical. She prepares cases thoroughly and pays attention to factual and procedural detail. Her background in social work informs how she interviews clients and evaluates the nonlegal consequences of litigation. Courtroom experience from early clerkships complements the trial and pretrial work she performs as an associate.

She is based in Texas and practices through Blizzard & Nabers. Her practice is concentrated on civil trial litigation in Texas.
