About Karen

Karen Kekelik came to law from a humanities background. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Grand Valley State University in 2015, then moved on to Valparaiso University School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2018. Those years of study shaped how she approaches both legal problems and the people who bring them to her office.

After law school, Kekelik established her practice in Indiana. She is licensed to practice in the state and has built a local practice under the name Kekelik Law LLC. Rather than a steady climb through large firms, her path has been compact and local. That has allowed her to focus on the work she handles day to day and on the clients she serves in the community.

Her academic training in English informs the way she works. Colleagues and clients note an emphasis on clear writing, careful research, and attention to detail. Those skills shape pleadings and client letters alike. She approaches each file as a set of facts to be understood and communicated plainly.

Kekelik’s work is hands-on. She manages client matters herself and takes responsibility for the file from intake to resolution. That means spending time listening to clients, gathering records, analyzing legal issues, and explaining options in straightforward terms. She favors practical solutions and tries to set realistic expectations early.

At Kekelik Law LLC, she runs a small practice tailored to the needs of clients in Indiana. The compact structure of her office allows for direct contact between attorney and client. It also means she handles a range of tasks that in larger firms would be delegated. Those day-to-day responsibilities keep her close to the details of each case.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and client-centered in the sense that she aims to make the law understandable to people who are not lawyers. She remains active in her local legal community and in regular practice. She currently practices at Kekelik Law LLC, handling legal matters for clients in Indiana.
