About Karen Elizabeth
Karen Elizabeth Eichman built her path to law on a foundation in numbers and business. She earned a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Delaware State University in 1981, then returned to school two decades later to complete a J.D. at Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2002. That blend of business training and legal education informs much of how she approaches client matters.
After law school, Eichman became active in the Pennsylvania legal community. She joined the Pennsylvania State Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 2002. Over time she gained admission to practice in Pennsylvania and to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Those credentials allowed her to handle matters at both the state and federal levels.
In 2012 she opened Eichman Law, PLLC and has served as the firm’s owner and a practicing lawyer since then. Running a small firm required handling the administrative and substantive sides of practice. Her earlier background in accounting and business administration has been useful in managing client finances, billing and the operational demands of a private practice.
Eichman’s community involvement runs alongside her legal work. She joined the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce in 2011 and became active with the Rotary Club of Kennett Square in 2013. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the Chester-Delaware County Farm Bureau, and has ties to the American Mushroom Institute, connecting her to the agricultural community in the region. Since 2016 she has served on the board of Family Promise of Southern Chester County, a local nonprofit addressing family homelessness and housing instability.
Her membership in Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in Business Administration, which dates to 1981, reflects long-standing engagement with business and organizational topics. Professionally, she maintains membership in the state bar organizations she joined after law school, continuing the ties that support courtroom practice and professional development.
Eichman approaches her work by blending legal training and business sense, handling the demands of a small firm while staying active in local civic and agricultural organizations. Her current practice focuses on serving clients in Pennsylvania and handling matters in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
