About Justin Solomon
Justin Solomon Nematzadeh earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law. He entered practice in New York and built a steady career in litigation and courtroom work. Early training at a major firm set the tone for the roles that followed.
He began his legal career as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in 2008. There he worked on matters that required extensive brief-writing, discovery management and courtroom preparation. The position offered him experience in high-volume litigation environments and exposed him to federal practice procedures.
In 2015 he moved to Pomerantz LLP as of counsel. That role expanded his exposure to complex civil matters and allowed him to take on greater responsibilities in case strategy and client communication. Colleagues from that period describe him as methodical in preparing pleadings and responsive to court deadlines.
Four years later he joined DiCello Levitt Gutzler as a partner. At DiCello he took on leadership duties while continuing to handle litigation tasks. The partner role involved supervision of case teams and a larger role in motion practice and settlement negotiations. It also marked a transition toward building and directing case portfolios rather than solely supporting them.
In 2021 he founded Nematzadeh PLLC and assumed the role of managing lawyer. He established the firm to consolidate his practice in New York courts and to provide a platform for litigation work under his direction. As managing lawyer he oversees case intake, litigation strategy and day-to-day operations of the office.
He holds admissions to the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, allowing him to represent clients in federal courts across the state. That federal admission complements his New York jurisdictional practice and the day-to-day litigation work his office handles.
Sources close to his practice say he prefers a hands-on approach in court filings and client interaction. He spends much of his time preparing motions, supervising discovery and appearing in court when required. His experience ranges from large firm procedures to the responsibilities of leading a small practice.
He divides his time between managing a small firm and practicing in federal and state courts in New York. He continues to lead Nematzadeh PLLC and handle litigation matters in New York courts as part of his current practice focus.
