About Justin

Justin Randolph built a practice from a string of steady moves rather than a single headline case. He earned his J.D. from DePaul College of Law in 1996 and then took the slower, steadier path that many litigators follow: learn the craft, handle the files, and keep showing up.

He joined Carpenter & Capt as an associate in 2001. The early years in that firm gave him courtroom exposure and day-to-day client work. In 2004 he opened his own firm, the Law Offices of Justin G Randolph, and ran it for more than a decade. In 2019 he shifted roles again and became a partner at Randolph & Holloway LLC.

Those shifts trace a career that moves between solo practice and partnership. Each phase brought different pressures and different lessons. As a solo practitioner he handled intake, billing and strategy. In a partnership he shared those burdens and the decisions that go with running a firm. Peers describe him as practical about litigation and methodical in how he builds a case file.

Randolph maintains professional ties to local and national bar groups. He holds membership in the Chicago Bar Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association. Those associations reflect both local ties and an interest in employment-law issues; he appears regularly at association meetings and in continuing education programs.

He works in Illinois courts and keeps his practice anchored in the state’s procedural rules. Over the years his caseload has included employment disputes and related civil litigation. He has represented employees in wage and hour matters, discrimination claims and contract disputes. His litigation style leans toward meticulous discovery and steady motion practice rather than trial fireworks.

Colleagues say Randolph is the sort of lawyer clients call when they want someone who understands how a case will play out over months and sometimes years. He balances client expectations against the practical limits of time and money. That posture serves clients who need clear-eyed assessments and a plan for each stage of litigation.

Outside the office he has continued to participate in bar programming and professional education. He is based in Illinois and has built a practice that reflects the local legal landscape. He practices in Illinois and concentrates his work on employment law and related civil litigation.
