About Justin
Justin Jeppesen built a legal path that moves from Idaho's classrooms to its courtrooms. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2014 after completing undergraduate studies in history at Boise State University in 2011. He spent those formative years combining classroom work with hands-on experience in state and federal settings.
As a law student he took a Semester in Practice as a student extern with the Idaho Court of Appeals in 2013. That placement gave him an inside view of appellate procedure and judicial decision-making. During the same year he worked as a summer intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, where he handled research and supported federal prosecutors on a range of matters.
After law school, Jeppesen moved quickly into practice. In 2014 he served as managing lawyer at Jeppesen Law, PLLC. He later took a position of counsel at Parsons Behle & Latimer in 2017, a role that exposed him to firm-based practice and a broader client base. He returned to Jeppesen Law as managing lawyer in 2018. The record shows a mix of solo- and firm-based work that spans civil and governmental environments.
Those early experiences shaped how he approaches cases. He has worked inside appellate chambers and inside a federal prosecutor’s office, then shifted to lead a private practice. He knows how rules, procedure and local practice shape outcomes. He also knows the practical demands of running a law office, from client intake through litigation planning and resolution.
Colleagues and clients have seen him handle filings, court appearances and negotiated resolutions across Idaho. He maintains membership in professional associations relevant to his practice, and he stays connected to the legal community in the state where he is licensed.
Jeppesen’s career reflects steady progression through several roles—student extern, federal intern, of counsel at a regional firm and managing lawyer at his own practice. The through line is a focus on practice in Idaho courts and federal court in the district. He continues to practice at Jeppesen Law, PLLC. His practice focuses on matters arising in Idaho.
