About Justin

Justin Hill took a conventional route into the law, starting with an undergraduate degree in management at Texas A&M and completing his J.D. at Baylor Law School in 2007. He left College Station for Waco and then built a practice around courtroom work and firm management. His academic record provided a foundation for a career that moved quickly from associate roles to firm ownership.

He began his professional career in private practice soon after law school. In 2007 he joined Watts Law Office as a partner, a position he held while developing trial skills and case-handling responsibilities. In 2012 he became owner and partner at Ramsey Hill LLP, shifting into a leadership role that involved both client work and firm administration. Three years later he founded Hill Law Office and has been the firm’s owner since 2015.

Hill’s professional life has run alongside steady involvement in bar and civic organizations. He has served as a panel chair on the State Bar of Texas Commission for Lawyer Discipline since 2018. He has been vice president of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association since 2008 and a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association since 2007. He has also held a seat on the board of South Texsa Mothers Against Drunk Driving since 2009. Those roles have kept him engaged with both the legal community and public-safety advocacy.

Colleagues describe him as someone comfortable in litigation settings. His practice history reflects repeated work on contested matters and trial preparation. Over time he has taken on managerial duties in addition to handling files, balancing courtroom responsibilities with the demands of running a small firm.

Running a firm has changed the day-to-day work. Hill manages case intake, supervises staff and handles litigation strategy. Ownership requires attention to business operations as well as legal practice. He has moved from partner in other firms to sole proprietor, and that shift has been central to his professional identity in recent years.

Outside the office he remains active in professional circles. His long-term involvement in trial lawyer groups and a state disciplinary commission shows an ongoing engagement with legal governance and professional standards. He also maintains a role with Mothers Against Drunk Driving in South Texsa, reflecting an interest in community-level safety issues.

Hill leads Hill Law Office and oversees its matters in Texas. He maintains a practice focused on litigation and trial work in Texas courts.
