About Justin A.
Justin A. Santarosa completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University in 2006 and earned a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2010. He entered the legal profession after law school, carrying the momentum of an education grounded in both public and private law coursework. His academic record provided the foundation for courtroom work and client counsel that would follow.
After law school, Santarosa joined Horgan, Rosen, Beckham & Coren where he built practical skills in litigation and case management. At the firm he handled filings, drafted pleadings and supported trial preparation. Colleagues describe him as methodical on procedural matters and careful in preparing evidence for court review. That period established his familiarity with the motions practice and federal filing procedures in California.
Santarosa is admitted to practice in California and holds admissions to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He maintains an active membership in the California State Bar. Over the years he has navigated both state and federal dockets, appearing on behalf of clients in pretrial hearings and managing discovery contests when they arise.
His professional life has been concentrated in the Los Angeles metropolitan region. He works out of offices in Calabasas and Los Angeles, meeting clients and appearing in courts across the area. Those offices serve as bases for client meetings, depositions and coordination with co-counsel. He balances casework across locations depending on court schedules and client needs.
Outside the courtroom, Santarosa places emphasis on procedural clarity. He prioritizes clear pleadings and timely responses. That approach aims to reduce surprises and keep cases moving through the calendar. He is known among peers for attention to deadlines and for preparing organized case files that facilitate client updates and opposing-counsel exchanges.
Today he continues to practice law in California, drawing on his McGeorge training and the practical experience gained at Horgan, Rosen, Beckham & Coren. He handles matters in both state court and the federal courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California, practicing from the firm’s Calabasas and Los Angeles offices.
