About Julie Owen
Julie Owen Herrera earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2008. She completed the traditional course of study there, graduating into a legal market that was still adjusting to post-recession pressures. Law school shaped her analytical approach and introduced her to litigation practice early on.
After law school Herrera secured admission to practice in Illinois and later gained admission to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
