Julie Curran Gerock is a partner at Maddox & Gerock, P.C., located in Falls Church, Virginia. She has been practicing family law since 1999, representing clients in complex cases such as equitable distribution, spousal and child support, child custody, visitation, relocation. International family law matters. Ms. Gerock holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, earned in 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Affairs from the University of Miami, obtained in 1994. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and North Carolina. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Gerock is a Virginia Supreme Court Certified Mediator, offering mediation services to clients seeking alternative dispute resolution methods. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax County Bar Association, American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, International Academy of Family Lawyers, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

She regularly represents clients through mediation and negotiation, using creativity and outside-the-box thinking to help resolve difficult cases.
She has lectured for various legal organizations and continuing legal education seminars, including the International Association of Family Lawyers and the Virginia Trial Attorneys Association. She is married to her retired military husband, with whom she has been together for over 25 years. They have one daughter, two dogs, and several cats. Her hobbies include fitness, travel, attending University of Miami football games.
