About Scott
Scott Parker earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at North Carolina State University in 2005. He arrived in the profession at a time when many young lawyers were deciding between private practice and in-house roles. He chose a path that has crossed both settings.
In 2009 he took on the role of managing partner at Parker Law Group. That early leadership post framed much of his later work. He ran a small practice, handled client matters directly and oversaw daily operations. The experience gave him a taste for both casework and practice management.
In the mid-2010s Parker moved into in-house legal work. He served as corporate counsel at OwnAmerica in 2016 and at RealSense Residential in 2017. Those positions exposed him to the transactional and compliance side of law. They complemented the litigation training he had built earlier and would return to later in his career.
He returned to litigation and family law–related practice in the late 2010s and early 2020s. He was a senior litigation lawyer at Cordell & Cordell in 2019, later served as domestic relations practice manager at Pikrallidas & Associates in 2020, and again worked with Cordell & Cordell as a senior litigation lawyer in 2021. In 2022 he was a senior associate at Livesay & Myers, P.C., and in 2023 he joined Kublan Khan PLC as a senior litigation lawyer. Across those roles he handled contested matters, courtroom preparation and case strategy, and oversaw teams of associates and staff on complex files.
Parker is admitted to practice in Virginia. He has been a member of the Fairfax Bar Association since 2020, participating in the local bar community and professional programming. He has combined courtroom work with management responsibilities throughout his career, moving between firm leadership, in-house counsel positions and senior litigation roles.
He currently practices at Kublan Khan PLC, where he continues to litigate civil and domestic relations matters while advising on transactional and compliance issues drawn from his in-house experience. His practice in Virginia encompasses litigation and domestic relations work as well as corporate counsel matters.
