About Julian
Julian Neiser earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2001. He moved into private practice soon after and began building a litigation résumé that spans law firms and in-house posts.
His early practice included litigation roles at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, LLP; Tucker Arensberg, PC; and McGuireWoods, LP. Those positions exposed him to courtroom work and contested civil matters. He handled cases for a range of clients and sharpened trial and motion practice skills during those years.
In 2007 he opened Neiser & Associates. That firm marked his first turn as a principal and underscored a shift from associate roles to managing client relationships and case strategy. He later served as general counsel for The Rhodes Group beginning in 2011, a role that added corporate legal responsibilities to his background. In 2014 he began operating under the name Julian Neiser, Esq., and in 2016 he joined Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC as counsel.
Neiser is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has been active in the Allegheny County Bar Association for more than a decade, serving on the Construction Law Section Council since 2012 and on the Civil Rules Committee since 2014. Separately, he has maintained membership in the United States Marine Corps Drill Instructors Association since 2000.
His career reflects steady movement between firm litigation and in-house counsel work. He has handled contested matters, courtroom appearances, and the day-to-day legal work that comes with advising corporate clients. He maintains an office at One Oxford Centre and currently practices civil litigation and construction law matters.
