About Julia
Julia Consoli-Tiensvold began her legal path at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She continued at UCLA School of Law and earned her J.D. in 2018. Those years in Los Angeles grounded her in the state's legal community and prepared her for practice in both state and federal courts.
After law school, Consoli-Tiensvold entered private practice and built experience handling matters that advance through California courts and the federal system. She is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. She also maintains active membership in the State Bar of California, taking part in the professional networks that shape practice standards across the state.
Consoli-Tiensvold serves as an associate at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP. In that role she collaborates on cases and transactions handled by the firm. Her work involves research, drafting, and courtroom preparation alongside more senior lawyers. Colleagues describe her as organized and detail-oriented in case preparation and client communications.
Her background at UCLA School of Law is reflected in the practical approach she brings to matters. She has experience preparing briefs and supporting litigation strategy in both trial and pretrial settings. At the firm, she contributes to team efforts that span discovery, motions practice, and settlement discussions. She also participates in the internal learning and mentoring structures that help newer attorneys acclimate to complex files.
Outside of individual matters, Consoli-Tiensvold keeps current with developments affecting practice in California and in the Central District. She is active in firm meetings and continuing legal education that address substantive law and procedural change. She remains based in Los Angeles and accepts matters consistent with her admissions and the firm’s practice areas. Her current practice focuses on representing clients in matters brought in California state and Central District federal court.
