About Joyce
Joyce Sweinberg earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1978 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at College Misericordia in 1973. Her academic path combined an interest in human behavior with legal training, a pairing that has informed a long career at the bar. She pursued legal studies in Philadelphia and entered practice during a period of shifting legal practice nationwide.
Early in her career she established a private practice that would come to bear her name. Since 1983 she has operated as a lawyer at Joyce J. Sweinberg Associates PC. That long tenure in private practice spans several decades and includes both trial-level matters and appellate work. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
